The research of computer games has been one of the most attractive fields in Artificial Intelligence since Shannon designed computer programs to play chess in 1950.

It was an important milestone for Artificial Intelligence that ¡§Deepblue¡¨, a chess program developed by an IBM team led by F.H. Hsu, defeated Kasparov, the World Chess Champion, in 1997.

Recently, the invention of Monte-Carlo tree search for Go also motivates rapid developments in the research of computer games. We expect that this tournament offers a platform for those who are interested in the research of computer games. ¡@
